Life Uncensored
Life Uncensored was one of our programs that proved to be very valuable to a number of young people in our community. Although the program is not currently running,
we are confident that some of our new programs will nurture the creativity in youth and provide a creative outlet for them to express themselves.
Of course we had help from others in our community too. That’s who the magazine is for – our community.
Too often youth think adults don't listen to them. Too often that is true; sometimes
because of how it is presented. But youth have a right to be heard and a need
to be heard and we think Life Uncensored magazine is one way that can
happen.
Check out the poems, stories and artwork on the following pages. Think about
what these youth have shared; talk about it with your friends; even email us
and tell us what you think. But make sure the first thing you do is just listen.
